Welcome

Our weekly meal plan! 16/02/26 – 22/02/26 #MealPlanningMonday

It was another vey wet one by us last week, I don’t think we had more than a few hours in the whole week without rain. Freddie’s football training got cancelled Saturday and his match Sunday so we were a bit relieved.

Saturday Tom was working so we just played and then Phoebe had a lovely time at her friends birthday party from Nursery on Saturday, it was at a role play place in Solihull.

Sunday we ended up taking our garden shed down as we had discovered that something potentially rats had been living under it, then when Tom went into it the other day it was full of damp and mould and a hole where something had chewed through the floor so decided it had to go so we have replace it with a Ketar box.

It is also half term this week for us so I will be WFH all week and trying to keep kids entertained.

Last weeks meal plan was spot on pretty much, everyone loved the Fry up on Thursday.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday – Homemade lasagna & garlic bread

I always try and make this the night before as everyone seems to enjoy it more. This week I never managed to but it will still be enjoyed.

Tuesday – Chilli con carne on Jacket Potatoes

The kids will just have cheese and beans but we will have chilli con carne with salad

Wednesday – creamy chicken & bacon Tagliatelle

Wednesday are crazy because Freddie usually has football training 6pm – 7pm and Phoebe’s at my parents but this week Freddie hasn’t got football training as it’s been cancelled so won’t be a mad rush

Thursday – Steak & chips

We will have this with fried onions, mushrooms & tomato’s

Thursday’s I Work from home so I can make a bit more of an effort with tea. Going to cook sausages, bacon, eggs, chips, mini hash browns and fried bread.

Friday – BBQ pulled pork enchiladas

Since starting to have these they have become a favourite.

Saturday – Picky bit tea

Something easy with the run up to getting back into school routine again after half term

Sunday – Sunday Roast and all the trimmings

Everyone loves a roast.

What are you eating this week?
