Last week was a another busy one but the kids are finally settled back in. The weather is still been rubbish and really hope we have a decent Spring soon because our garden looks like a lake currently with all the rain we have had. I can’t wait to just get outside again and tidy everything up.
Last week we also brought a caravan, as we have previously has a motor home and campervan but needed something bigger as the kids get older. We are really excited to hopefully plan another road trip around Europe in the summer.
Last weeks meal plan was good, everyone enjoyed some of the new Sainsbury meals. My favourite meal was the Chicken fajita pasta. Everyone enjoyed the roast dinner too.
This week is looking quiet other than kids clubs after school, footy training and cubs and Phoebe has got Number Day at school on Friday and has got her friends birthday party from Nursery on Saturday.
On the menu this week we have:
Monday – Chicken Kiev’s, chips & salad
Haven’t had these for a while so thought we would and the kids enjoy them.
Tuesday – Chilli con carne on Jacket Potatoes
The kids will just have cheese and beans but we will have chilli con carne with salad
Wednesday – Spaghetti Bolognese and garlic bread
Wednesday are crazy because Freddie usually has football training 6pm – 7pm and Phoebe’s at my parents but this week Freddie hasn’t got football training as it’s been cancelled so won’t be a mad rush
Thursday – Fry up tea
Thursday’s I Work from home so I can make a bit more of an effort with tea. Going to cook sausages, bacon, eggs, chips, mini hash browns and fried bread.
Friday – Date night out at Las Iguanas
We have had this booked for a couple of weeks now and the kids are staying at the in laws which will be nice for them. Few drinks and we can be Tom & Kim not Mum & Dad for a few hours.
Saturday – Eating at In Laws
My sister in Laws and nieces & Nephews are down from Wales for Half Term so we will spend the weekend at their house so the kids can play.
Sunday – Eating at In Laws
My sister in Laws and nieces & Nephews are down from Wales for Half Term so we will spend the weekend at their house so the kids can play.
