Welcome

Blogger Tiki Party – Island Bar Birmingham

When I received an email back in April inviting me along to another blog event in July I immediately replied with a big fat YES.  I have only been to 3 blog events in the 12 months I have been blogging including this one, so it is very exciting when I get invited to events.

I really didn’t know what to expect from this one

It was hosted by the lovely Kirsty Leanne from the start, with constant email updates to keep us posted with what is happening on the day.  It was been held at Island bar Birmingham, I have only been there once which was for a birthday night out but it was rammed, so was nice to see it in the day time.  The ceiling was decorated with lots of little lanterns.

Me and my sister-in-law arrived together a little early and just had a look around as they were still setting up.  There was a little guest book while we waited to sign with a little message.  Once it was all set up Kirsty told us we could start walking round and mingling to see and talk to other bloggers and have a look at companies and products that were on offer.  Some of the companies I saw were:

  1. Pink Parcel
  2. Little bit lavish
  3. Love Aroma
  4. Toad diaries
  5. Early Bird Snacks

The goody bag we received at the end of the day was huge, the biggest I have ever had, it was filled with all sorts of goodies from lots of different companies.

Near the end of the day they also held a raffle to win some more amazing prizes, I had a go but unfortunately didn’t win anything either this time.  The main thing was having fun and taking part.

It was a great day overall and was good to meet and speak to other bloggers.   Thank you to Kirsty Leanne for organising it all.  I would have loved to stay after the event but unfortunately wasn’t able to this time.

I attended this blog event free of charge and received the product as part of the event in return for honest reviews of all products, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
