Blogger Tiki Party – Island Bar Birmingham

When I received an email back in April inviting me along to another blog event in July I immediately replied with a big fat YES.  I have only been to 3 blog events in the 12 months I have been blogging including this one, so it is very exciting when I get invited to events.

I really didn’t know what to expect from this one

It was hosted by the lovely Kirsty Leanne from the start, with constant email updates to keep us posted with what is happening on the day.  It was been held at Island bar Birmingham, I have only been there once which was for a birthday night out but it was rammed, so was nice to see it in the day time.  The ceiling was decorated with lots of little lanterns.

Me and my sister-in-law arrived together a little early and just had a look around as they were still setting up.  There was a little guest book while we waited to sign with a little message.  Once it was all set up Kirsty told us we could start walking round and mingling to see and talk to other bloggers and have a look at companies and products that were on offer.  Some of the companies I saw were:

  1. Pink Parcel
  2. Little bit lavish
  3. Love Aroma
  4. Toad diaries
  5. Early Bird Snacks

IMG_6421 IMG_6422 IMG_6423 IMG_6438 IMG_6440 IMG_6443 IMG_6444

The goody bag we received at the end of the day was huge, the biggest I have ever had, it was filled with all sorts of goodies from lots of different companies.

arIMG_6445

Near the end of the day they also held a raffle to win some more amazing prizes, I had a go but unfortunately didn’t win anything either this time.  The main thing was having fun and taking part.

It was a great day overall and was good to meet and speak to other bloggers.   Thank you to Kirsty Leanne for organising it all.  I would have loved to stay after the event but unfortunately wasn’t able to this time.

I attended this blog event free of charge and received the product as part of the event in return for honest reviews of all products, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Toad Diaries Review

When I attended the #BloggersTikiParty, there were lots of companies there that were sponsors for the event, one of which was Toad diaries.

IMG_6422

The ladies I met were very friendly and helpful and knew exactly how to help and explained everything to do with the ordering processes etc.

I haven’t heard of this company before but was very surprised and excited to be given the opportunity to make and choose my very own diary prior to the #BloggerTikiParty event.  You can design absolutely everything from scratch to make it your very own and personal diary.  When you want it to start, colour, scheme on the front, you can even put your own personalised wording on it aswell.  I love this idea.

The hardest decision was deciding what cover and style I wanted on it – there was so many different ones.  I looked and tried each one that stood out to me, and you could preview each one on screen.  I eventually decided on this one called “Stella & Dot” – Loved the wording on it which is why I chose it – my kinda motto in life too.

IMG_6498[1]

The next step after that was decided was how I wanted the inside done, week on one page, with blank page, week spread over 2 pages and many more options to think about.  I choose the one week over 2 pages as it gives you more room to write things down etc.

IMG_6499[1]

I had it start from January 2017 as I already have a diary for this year so thought next year should be a bigger and better year for everything – New year New start as the saying goes.  They don’t just do diaries they do notebooks & Journals which again you can personalise and choose everything from scratch.

The process was so simple from the start to finish and would defiantly recommend anyone to use this company for their personalised products.

Prices are very reasonable, starting from £8.95 but this may vary depending on what you choose on the website.  Delivery starts from £1.99 within the UK and may vary depending on parcel dimensions and parcel weight.

Business Card Review – Colour Graphics

Quite a few weeks ago now I was approached by a Printing company called Colour Graphics who were interested in bloggers working with them to show off their printing and design skills.  They were giving bloggers the opportunities to either have 50 business card or 50 Leaflets printed as they wished.

I chose the business cards option.

IMG_6497

I placed the order through their website which was very quick, easy and simple from the start by just following the on screen instructions.  I ordered the cards Monday Morning and they were made and printed and delivery to me at my house by Wednesday.  Fantastic service from start to finish.  I created the design myself just something plain and simple.

The cards arrived by courier at my door and were packed in a little box for protection.  The quality of the cards, were ok, they weren’t top quality but were printed on thick cards and are my own simple design, but they are good enough for me.

I would defiantly use this company again and recommend others to aswell as the service and speed was excellent couldn’t fault it.

To find out more about the company and the services they provide, you can visit their website here or contact them by phone which is on the top of their website on the left hand side.

Little Party Parcels – Kids party bag fillers review

How hard is it every year to try and find things to fill kids party bags, that are unique and not cheap and tacky?

I know with my nephew when we have organised and planned his parties it has been so difficult to find things to fill up the party bags and even harder as he got older.

IMG_5990[1]

When https://littlepartyparcels.co.uk/ contacted me and asked if I wanted to review their party bag fillers I immediately said yes.  They do an incredible selection of lots of different items for all ages which is perfect if you’ve got young children/ babies in your family and you don’t want to leave them out.

There is something for everyone from this company, it’ll save you walking around the shops and there not been enough of one product in stock or over buying because there’s only a set amount in a pack and even better you can do it in the comfort of your home and it won’t break the bank.

The products are of good quality and will make great party bag fillers.  The fact you can make up your own party bag as well as ordering a pre – filled one is just perfect too.

For my nephew’s birthday we will certainly be using this company again and when I have a family of my own I will carry on using them and also I will spread the word to everyone I know with kids to start looking here for party bag goodies to save time and money.

For more information don’t forget to visit their website https://littlepartyparcels.co.uk/

Safe Sip Review and Giveaway

Safe Sip No more spills….EVER!

I had never heard of this company or product before today but wow i’m impressed.

I was asked if I wanted to review their products which are called Safe Sip and they are silicone tops that fit virtually on any Can, Mug or Glass or Cup.

IMG_5363[1]

With having 4 Nephews these will be perfect for when they come over so I don’t have to worry about them spilling their drinks by accident if they are sitting on the sofas or if they get knocked over.

IMG_5366 IMG_5365 IMG_5364

As you can see they fit exactly on an mug or glass.  Sadly I didn’t have a can to try it on as I rarely buy cans of drinks.  They fit tightly around the glass/mug creating a suction seal to keep it in place so when it does accidently get knocked, dropped or tipped it stays in the exactly the same place as you put it.

This company offers different pack sizes, single, double, triple and even quad, they also include other accessories and all can be found here.  The one thing I would say is I feel they are a little on the expensive side but do offer free delivery when you purchase certain packs and they do delivery outside the UK.

I am now giving you lucky readers the change to win a quad pack of “SafeSip” silicone tops worth £12.50.

dome8 – Headphones Case Review & Giveaway

dome8 is the new “IPhone Case that Holds Headphones”

I don’t know about you but I am forever loosing my headphones or getting them twisted, caught and knotted in the bottom of my handbag, around my purse, my house keys or whatever rubbish I have in my bag.  Then it is a case of emptying the contents of my bag out to find them.

When I was offered to trial a new phone case with a headphone section inbuilt from dome8 I said yes straight away.

I had a choice to pick from of 5 different colours

Blue Ocean & Black, Black night & Black, Black night & White, Black night & Fluoro Green and Watermelon Pink & White. These can be seen here.

I choose the Watermelon Pink & White case.

IMG_5295[1]

I was really excited when the case finally arrived in the post, I couldn’t wait to open it and try it out on my phone.

When it arrived for some reason I was expecting it to be a flexi case, so when I got it out the box I was surprised to find it was a hardback plastic case.

IMG_5030[1] IMG_5031[1]

The case was fantastic, sturdy, rigid and would certainly protect your phone if dropped.  The grip was great and your phone wouldn’t be slipping and sliding out your hands when in use, as some cases can have that shiny look to them making them slippery to hold.

I use my headphones pretty much every day so would be lost without them whether it’s to listen to music on the way home from work or make a call while working to keep my hands free.

IMG_5335 IMG_5336

This case is perfect, especially if you tend to drop your  phone alot.  Priced at £14.95 plus free UK delivery.  I think it is a very reasonable price for a phone case of that spec and is of a very good quality.

Now I am offering one lucky reader to have the chance of winning one of these cases for themselves in whatever colour they like.  They’re available in different sizes and colours. The whole range can be found here.

E- Cloth Product Review

With Spring fast approaching and a house to keep clean and a dog that moults and treads muddy paw prints through the house I wasn’t going to turn down the offer to review some house cleaning products from E-Cloth.

I received the products a few weeks later after been contacted.  The products came well packaged as well to prevent damaged as it was a large delicate item.

IMG_5194

The products I was sent for review were:

Aqua Spray Deep Clean Mop RRP – £24.99

IMG_5202 IMG_5203

As sad as it sounds I couldn’t wait to try the mop out because  with having a dog there is constant muddy paw prints all over the floor so I am always mopping up.  This Aqua Spray mop is brilliant, light weight and extremely easy to you, you just detach the water bottle and fill with just water, then just press the handle and it will spray the water out onto the floor.  If you wish you can spray a cleaner onto the floor first, then spray the water and away you go.  The mop head has long fibres and a special weave that enable it to break up and hold grease, dirt and over 99% of bacteria, using just water.  Another great thing about this product is the cloth is removable and can be washed easily.

The next product I was sent was:

All Purpose Cleaner RRP-£9.99

IMG_5197 IMG_5198

As in every kitchen you get water marks, food splashes and dull stainless steel, well look no further than this all-purpose cleaner it works on stainless steel, kitchen sinks, ovens, pots & pans, garden furniture, trainers, boats, caravans and much more.  It comes with an e-cloth and a little scourer too and you can just dampen it dip it in the cleaner and it will remove tough and stubborn stains easily.

The last product I was sent to try was:

Kitchen Whizz RRP-£2.99

IMG_5196

This is a great little cloth for the kitchen aswell.  It has long microfibre’s so is easy to collect and clean all those stubborn hard to remove stains,It Is ideal for a quick ‘whizz’ around the kitchen. Just wet the whizz under the tap, wring out and clean worktops, hobs and around the sink. All using just the power of water.  You will notice if you look closely at the cloth there are dark green scrubbing stripes these are made from a more abrasive material to remove stubborn dirt and residue easily.

Since owning a house I am always looking for more ways and easy ways to keep on top of the constant cleaning of the house.

I rate all these products 10/10 they are brilliant and would defiantly recommend them.

*I was sent these product free of charge, all opinions are my own.

Review & Giveaway – Canvasdesign.co.uk

I have always loved taking photos, I’ve lost track of how many cameras I’ve got through in my life so far.  Now I’ve got a smart phone every opportunity I get I’m snapping at items while i’m out and about and visiting different places.

When I was given the opportunity to get a 20×16 canvas from Canvas Design with a photo of my choice I was thrilled, but then there was the big decision of what photo was I going to pick (there are hundreds) eventually after a week of looking and picking out pictures I quite liked and narrowing it down to just a couple, I finally agreed on this one with my fiance on holiday in Turkey last year.

IMG_5152[1]

The canvas came well packaged, wrapped in bubble wrap, and then corrugated paper to protect it further and finally sealed with “FRAGILE” tape.

IMG_5146

It also came with the fixings and fittings which was a bonus.

IMG_5153[1]

I was sent a Portrait Canvas Classic which prices start from £8.99. Retailing at £24.99 for the canvas I was sent, I thought it was good value for money and the quality of the picture was excellent.  The delivery was really quick too and they do offer next day delivery if ordered before a certain time. (Check out their website for further information.

It now looks perfect in my lounge too.

I can now offer one of my readers the chance to win one £10 Voucher towards a canvas of their choice.  To enter, please complete the Rafflecopter widget below. All terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the page.

George Foreman Grill Review

From the same company as I got the Retro Kettle and coffee machine I was also given the opportunity to review a George Foreman Grill.

IMG_4957

Since moving in my own house just over 12 months ago I want all the latest gadgets for the kitchen to make cooking etc. easier and quicker but also healthier as I don’t get in from work till 6.30pm.

I used it for the first time the other night when I cooked Hunters Chicken,(fresh chicken breast with bacon, BBQ sauce and cheese).  You can see the fat/juice running into the drip tray.

IMG_4959

The dial on the top tells you the temperature it is cooking at. The chicken took approximately 20 mins to cook. I checked it was thoroughly cooked through to the middle and the juices were running clear and checked it was piping hot in the middle. You can cook lots of different meats and meals in the grill.

The George foreman grill is very easy to clean as well as it has removable plates, you just press the buttons on the side of each plate to release them.

I would give this product 10/10

I was sent this product free of charge all opinions and thoughts are my own.
