Kenilworth Castle #MySundayPhoto

Yesterday I headed out to Kenilworth to meet up with my cousin to get the final alterations finish to my bridesmaid dress for her big day in just 3 weeks time.  The sun was shining and the skies were clear blue with little cloud.  I made the OH pull over so I could take a photo of it, it looked beautiful.  Will definitely be coming back to have a proper look around it.

Rain, Rain, & more Rain, Suits & Baby’s Heartbeat #LittleLoves

I can’t believe we are already at the end of the first month and into the start of the second one of 2017, It is scary how quick January flew by, but then again I’m not surprised and glad to see the back of it with what has gone on throughout it. Just hope that February will be a better month.

Not a lot really, other than process notes for new clients and systems I have taken on at work, I haven’t really read much. I am hoping to change that with the coming weeks.

I had my 16 week pregnancy check up with my midwife from the doctors to make sure everything was ok. To think I am 18 weeks now is madness, nearly halfway through my pregnancy. The midwife checked my blood pressure, took a Urine Sample and had a feel and listen to baby’s heartbeat. Baby was very active and kept moving away and wriggling so was difficult to listen properly but we got to hear it and it was incredible, so magical and can’t wait to hear it again hopefully at my 20 week scan and checkup.

My favourite TV series is back on the screen…SUITS, I wrote about it a little bit last year in some of these posts as well, but I can’t explain how happy I am to have this back on the TV to watch every Sunday evening.

The same 4 dresses over again every day for the week 🙁 because I don’t have any other decent clothes that fit me with my ever expanding pregnancy tummy.  I will certainly have to take a trip to the shops and get some new maternity clothes.

Not a lot really, we have been quite lazy with dinners and lunches. I did make breakfast though last Sunday. Scrambled Egg on toast, Bacon & Smoked salmon – was delicious and certainly made a change from just boring toast or cereals. It is so quick and semi-healthy too.

The Bedtime Tag Quiz

Bedtime – my favourite time of the day! Rachel from Coffee, Cake, Kids tagged me in ‘The Bedtime Tag Quiz’, where I’ve answered a few questions about my bedtime routine. Here goes!

1.Describe your usual bedtime routine.

I can’t really say I have one, Other than going upstairs getting into my pyjamas, brushing my teeth and taking my makeup off then snuggling up in bed I don’t have a routine as not one night is the same lol.

2.What are your favourite pyjamas?

I have lots of different pairs, winter ones which are fluffy and warm, I have summer ones, which are shorts & Vests, then I have ones that I never wear.  If I had to pick any it would have to be my new fluffy ones I got for my birthday from my mum & dad, they make me feel so comfy, snug and warm.

What is your current bedtime reading?

It’s very rare that I actually read in bed as I tend to just fall asleep as I’m too relaxed when I get into bed.  But the book I am reading at the moment is called the Boss’s Son and is an office Romance, and has me very hooked.

What would I find on your bedside table?

Apart from all sorts of rubbish, you would find my make up & bag, my OH’s hair gel & Comb, tissues, hairbrush, My heart monitor recorder that takes reading every night at midnight and my watch & jewellery.

What scent makes you sleepy?

I can honestly say no scent makes me sleepy, but that may change when I have my baby as I can’t resist that fresh, clean new baby scent, will have to wait and see.

What is your usual bedtime and wake-up time?

I usually go to bed anywhere from 9pm onwards but since been pregnant I could go to bed anything from 8pm and wake up between 6am and 10pm including weekends.

What are your top three bedtime products?

My face wipes, Tea tree cleansing lotion and my tea tree night cleanser.

What is your most common sleeping position?

I tend to sleep on my side or occasionally on my back and front – I do fidget in bed though!  It’s been hard trying to get comfy since been pregnant though as you are only allowed to sleep certain ways.

Do you have anything you like to take to bed with you?

No, just myself and occasionally a drink

What is your worst bedtime habit?

I can’t say I have any except I do tend to play on my phone a lot before bed.

I’m now tagging Serena from Ramblings of another uni student

Sunsets #MySundayPhoto

I love a good sunset and this one is a throwback from a few years ago when the OH and I went away for a weekend – Little did I know he was going to propose to me.  We went to Suffolk for the weekend, it was beautiful and I couldn’t resist snapping this when we were walking along the pier.

Exciting News, Healthy Eating & Clothes #LittleLoves

Well, I haven’t got involved in this linky for quite a few weeks as we’ve had quite a busy few weeks plus some ups & downs over the past few weeks.

While having to sit at the hospital for almost 3 hours, I luckily took my kindle with me to read. I had downloaded a book called “The Boss’s Son which is an office romance and so far is very good and makes me not want to put it down.

Before Christmas, we received some very exciting news, my fiancé & I were having our first baby. It was a big shock as we were due to get married in July this year but we have managed to postpone it and move it to the end of the year

The last few weeks it has grown colder each day and been generally a miserable and then Thursday afternoon & Friday it started snowing very lightly, we even woke up to a dusting of snow on Friday morning but it sadly didn’t last very long and by late morning it had disappeared.

Mainly dresses with tights as I can’t fit into my trousers anymore, I’m coming up to my half way mark of 20 weeks currently at 16 weeks so I think I will definitely be needing some new clothes very soon but I did buy myself a new top when I was out with my friend the other weekend and it was in the January Sales too.

Well, this we have done pretty well more so more than ever with food, we have been trying to eat fairly healthy but there hasn’t been any fancy flashy food made, but for a change, the OH has been taking over and helping out in the kitchen which has been amazing.  The best meal had to be a warm steak salad, it really was delicious.  I wish I had taken a picture.  And Lastly

And Lastly

Say hello to baby Cooper bump at 15 weeks, starting to feel real now.

What have you been up to?

Watching the ducks #Mysundayphoto

Over the last few weeks it has been miserable, cold and wet so has been hard to get out and walk the dog and like most females she doesn’t like going out in the rain incase her hair gets wet.  Sunday had been dry so we jumped in the car early afternoon and drove to Elmdon park so Carly could have a run around and burn off some steam.

She was transfixed by all the ducks and birds in the pond and wouldn’t move away and kept trying to jump in with them.

A few weeks ago now we went to North Wales for the weekend to see my fiance’s parents while they were on holiday.  We took our dog Carly as she had never been to the beach/Sea before and we weren’t sure what she would be like.  As you can see she absolutely loved the sea, so much so that on occasions we couldn’t get her out of it.  She was one happy doggy in the sea.

Cannock chase Lakes #Mysunday photo

On bank holiday Monday the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining so the in-laws and ourselves decided to head out to Cannock chase with the dogs.  We have been there once before and it is a place I can’t get enough of.

This is the 3 of us, my fiance, my dog and I by the lake at Cannock Chase.  This is a very rare occasion to catch up all together in a photo.
