Our little Monkey Freddie hates baths but doesn’t mind showers so much, we try and shower him at least a couple times a week. He is getting better slowly and not screaming the house down every time.
My favourite part is when I get to wrap him up in his cute animal Towels.
Today he will be my little elephant.
My little boy is over 11 weeks old now and has certainly found his voice and hands, he loves to put his hands in his mouth and have a good chew.
When Cheeky Chompers got in contact and offered to send me one of their products for Freddie I was delighted.
I decided to choose the cheeky chomper comforter as it was a 4 in 1 baby essential. It was a comforter, teether, teddy and tag. All things baby’s love.
He loves to hold it and feel the fluffy side on his skin. The different textures to it too is great for them. It also won’t be long before he’s properly chewing on it
It’s priced at £17.95 which I feel is a little high but can understand why with all the different materials it takes to make it.
- I was sent this product free of charge for the purpose of the review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve always liked the idea of joining in with this linky, and now we are a family of 3 I can. A couple of weeks ago we were at my cousins wedding and what better reason to get a family picture of us all dressed us looking smart.
This photo was taken In Tetbury at the Matara with it’s stunning views and beautiful landscapes.
I really love this photo as it was captured at the perfect moment when our little boy was smiling.
The one below isn’t great but were a family and the scenery was gorgeous.
Apologises, we have been a bit rubbish keeping up with this but I’m going to try really hard to keep up. I can’t believe the kids have been back to school for 4 weeks already. My nephew has gone into Year 5 and is loving it.
Nothing…No blog posts, No books, been so busy sorting wedding stuff out just havent had time.
The OH found “Jack Whitehall – Travels with my father” on Netflix. It is brilliant and super funny. It’s a must watch.
I have been trying new thing to cook while on maternity Leave and the most recent thing I have made are these Pitta Pizza’s. Super easy and quick to make and taste amazing.
My Wedding Dress, Only for a fitting but 5 weeks to go till I get to wear it for real. I am still so much in love with it as the day I found it and made the masssive decision to buy it.
We have been trying to decide on music for our Wedding and it has been so hard to find songs that are suitable and we both agree on.
It is only 5 weeks till our wedding now…It’s coming round so quickly now. Still feel like I have got so much to do even though I think we are top of it all.
I haven’t been very successful with keeping up with this linky, but I will post as and when I remember as I’m very busy trying to organise things for our wedding with less than 6 weeks to go now.
This weeks meal plan is:
Chicken Tikka Stirfry with Egg Noodles
Chilli Burgers with Monterey Jack & smoked bacon loaded fries
Chicken En croute with homemade Potato Wedges
Cottage Pie with Vegetables
Chicken Tikka Curry with Rice
Lasanga, Chips & Garlic Bread
Roast Dinner with all the trimmings
What’s on your meal plan this week?
August bank holiday weekend we headed over to Wales to spend the day with my Sister in Law.
There was the Rhyl air show on during the weekend but the finale was on the Sunday – which we were lucky enough to watch, we watched the spectacular Red Arrows – of course from the comfort of a pub beer garden, It was incredibly busy, but the atmosphere was really nice – the sun shining sure helped!
Having recently had a baby I see all times of night/day. The other morning at 5.30am just after I had finished feeding I could see the sun starting to rise through our blinds, so went and opened them and managed to capture this beautiful sunrise. The picture really doesn’t do it justice.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
4 weeks ago I became a very proud first time mummy to a boy who we named Freddie. I don’t know where the weeks have gone. It was a long 15 hour labour but so worth every minute of pain.
Welcoming Freddie Charles Thomas, born 8th July 2017 @ 19.12pm.
It has been quite a while since I have joined in with this linky as the past few weeks have been making sure we had everything we needed to welcome our new arrivel into the world and I can imagine the next few weeks after will be insane with getting ourselves into a routine of a family of 3. We also are trying to getting everything organised for our wedding which is in 3 months time.
Lots of lovely comments from friends and family since giving birth to our gorgeous little boy Freddie. Also receiving lots of appointment letters through the post for both Freddie’s and mine Midwife/Health visitors and doctors check ups.
Day time TV, and realising how crap it actually is.
The sad news of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park Hanging himself. I grew up loving and blasting linkin Park music out in my bedroom. Such tragedy to loose such a legend from the music industry.
A mixture of summer/winter like clothes such as maxi dresses and jeans and cardigans after we had a spell of really hot weather then cold winds and rain where I was forced to dig out my jeans from the wardrobe.
The arrival of our little bundle of joy who finally made an appearance on Saturday 8th July 2017 @ 19:12PM just 1 day over his due date.
It is now the 6 week school holidays which I bet all the kids are happy about. Are you and your family’s going away this summer holidays?
How was your week?
Half term has now been and gone with a blink of an eye. Sadly there was no rest over here for the week for me, I spent the week at work handing over all my clients to the relevant people ready to start my Maternity Leave in a couple of weeks.
Sadly again nothing. I am determined while I’m off and baby is sleeping is to read so blog posts and get some inspiration, so please feel free to leave me your blog links in the comments and I will have a nose and leave some comments.
That while we were away in Wales over bank holiday weekend at my Sister in Laws, my friend Laura had finally had her baby Girl Isabelle, just 4 days overdue as well. She was gorgeous and her labour and birth sounded perfect. Just hope mine is as good as my pregnancy has been.
My first maxi dress of the year. It is the only one that I could squeeze into with my ever growing pregnancy tummy, but it felt great to wear it. Even more so while the weather had been hot to keep my cool.
A first BBQ of the year too…If that counts, we had the in-laws round the other Friday and as the weather was so nice we decided to do a last-minute BBQ, plus it was my father in laws birthday.
Britain’s got Talent, I never used to be big on these sort of TV programmes but I’ve grown to like it and they get some really good people on it, but then there are others that just make you cringe in your seat.
We went and spend the bank holiday weekend up in Wales at the sister in Laws, 6 adults, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 children in a bungalow was a little tight but we had a great time.
