New shoes, Kindle and To Do Lists #LittleLoves

Well that’s it the last Friday of February…Where has this month gone? Seemed to havr blinked and it’s just vanished.

This week Little Loves are:

My kindle in bed while the OH was out with his brother on a night out.  So calming and relaxing a whole double bed to myself too.

Watched…not much.  Just the usual every day soaps such as Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

I had to buy some new shoes for work, so I’ve been wearing these…nothing special, just some flat black plimsole.

I have a “To do List” of the things that need doing round the house, I know we have only been in the house just over 12 months but its the little things that are bugging me the most e.g. no door handles on any door in the house.

The scary (not mentioning expensive) news from the dentist that I need a filling, I hate the dentist at the best of times.

And Finally…

Looking at more wedding venues.  There are so many to choose from and so much to take into with organising and planning a wedding.  But I am so EXCITED!!  To get better and write better #LittleLoves posts on a weekley basis and take more photos.  Next week I’ve got friends coming over from Spain to stay with us for a week too.

Hope you have all had a great week?!

Cinema’s, Pancakes and Ugg Boots #LittleLoves

Well this week has been another crazy week and we are nearly at the end of February…. How and where has this month gone already I seemed to have blinked and it’s gone.

This week Little Loves are:

Lots of emails at work, lots of requests for work.

Me and my Fiance went out to watch the new “Dirty Grandpa” Film at the new cinema at Resorts World Birmingham.  It was brilliant, really funny, it is rated 15 as it has scenes of sexual nature and swearing.

My amazing warm ugg boots, they are so comfy and in this freezing, wet weather have kept my feet super toasty.  I have been wearing them to work too as my office has been cold too.

PANCAKES – A little late but we had pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.  They were delicious, I have my plain and simple with just lemon and sugar.

That one of my best friends had finally given birth to her 3rd baby and it was a boy, weighing 8lb 1oz.  He was 2 weeks early and I cant wait to go and meet him and have cuddles.

And Finally…

Looking at more wedding venues.  There are so many to choose from and so much to take into with organising and planning a wedding.  But I am so EXCITED!!

I do hope you have all had a great week?!

E- Cloth Product Review

With Spring fast approaching and a house to keep clean and a dog that moults and treads muddy paw prints through the house I wasn’t going to turn down the offer to review some house cleaning products from E-Cloth.

I received the products a few weeks later after been contacted.  The products came well packaged as well to prevent damaged as it was a large delicate item.

The products I was sent for review were:

Aqua Spray Deep Clean Mop RRP – £24.99

IMG_5202 IMG_5203

As sad as it sounds I couldn’t wait to try the mop out because  with having a dog there is constant muddy paw prints all over the floor so I am always mopping up.  This Aqua Spray mop is brilliant, light weight and extremely easy to you, you just detach the water bottle and fill with just water, then just press the handle and it will spray the water out onto the floor.  If you wish you can spray a cleaner onto the floor first, then spray the water and away you go.  The mop head has long fibres and a special weave that enable it to break up and hold grease, dirt and over 99% of bacteria, using just water.  Another great thing about this product is the cloth is removable and can be washed easily.

The next product I was sent was:

All Purpose Cleaner RRP-£9.99

IMG_5197 IMG_5198

As in every kitchen you get water marks, food splashes and dull stainless steel, well look no further than this all-purpose cleaner it works on stainless steel, kitchen sinks, ovens, pots & pans, garden furniture, trainers, boats, caravans and much more.  It comes with an e-cloth and a little scourer too and you can just dampen it dip it in the cleaner and it will remove tough and stubborn stains easily.

The last product I was sent to try was:

Kitchen Whizz RRP-£2.99

This is a great little cloth for the kitchen aswell.  It has long microfibre’s so is easy to collect and clean all those stubborn hard to remove stains,It Is ideal for a quick ‘whizz’ around the kitchen. Just wet the whizz under the tap, wring out and clean worktops, hobs and around the sink. All using just the power of water.  You will notice if you look closely at the cloth there are dark green scrubbing stripes these are made from a more abrasive material to remove stubborn dirt and residue easily.

Since owning a house I am always looking for more ways and easy ways to keep on top of the constant cleaning of the house.

I rate all these products 10/10 they are brilliant and would defiantly recommend them.

*I was sent these product free of charge, all opinions are my own.

Vets, Wedding Stationery and Car Expenses #LittleLoves

How are we nearly half way through February already?

This weeks little Loves consists of…

Reading over engagement letters and risk management at work to make sure that I have Included everything that is needed before sending out to clientsto be signed.

The ‘Super Vet’, what an absolute amazing inspirational man who will do anything and everything to help bring the animals back to good health.  Brings a tear to my eye everytime I watch it.

More warm clothing as the weather seems to be going from one extreme to another week to week, Just want it to be summer already.

I am desperately trying to get my wedding stationery buisness up and running so I have been experiementing and making some new designs of wedding invitations.  See my designs here KimzKardz

Not the greatest news that the reason my car isn’t/wasn’t working is that the main ECU switchboard like thingy has failed which explains why my car wouldnt work as the ECU is the main brain of the car, But on a better note atleast I can get my wheels back after been without for 2 weeks.

And Finally…..

I know I mentioned it but my car is back home after 2 weeks without it.  Been to look at potential Wedding venues too, so excited.

How has your week been?

For those that know me they will know I have had quite an array of different jobs in my life time so far.  I started off when I left school that I always wanted to be a vet nurse, so I went to a college in Warwickshire called Morton Morrell and started studying Vet nursing, then after being there 6-8 months and working in a vets I came to the conclusion I couldn’t carry on because of the fatalities it was really hard and upsetting so I left and found a job in administration.

After a few years had passed I chose to go back to college and study again in animal care at Solihull College, I studied for 2 years doing Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care then Level 3 subsidiary in animal Management, I achieved both of these with a Distinction *.  While I was at College I chose to get a part-time job to keep me ticking over with an income. Just some of the places I have worked are:

Amicus Vets, Boots, Argos, Iceland Food,Cupboard Love (Kitchen refurbish Company), Npower (Mitie Management Services),GVA Grimley, Hatton Country World, Willows Veterinary Practice, Canon and finally, PWC (PriceWaterHouseCoopers).  I loved working in retail and got to met lots of different lovely people, but again you had to work 7 days a week.

I have had various different jobs, and I still don’t honestly know what I want to do but I suppose that is part of life. I do honestly think I have ruled out becoming a veterinary nurse now though as when I was at Willows as an ACA (Animal care Assistant), I had only been there a few months so was still new to the game and I was working 14 hour days to cover sick and holidays, don’t get me wrong I didn’t mind, but the money wasn’t great and the work you do is very physical, but you are helping make the animals better, plus working 10 hours on weekends and bank holidays, I just didn’t feel like I had any time for myself. After I left the vets I got myself a temp/perm position at Canon where I would take all the inbound calls from companies that were having issues with their printers and fax machines I did this for 12 months before moving on, it was a great job, the people I worked with were great too,  but the job just wasn’t for me, too slow and not always busy enough to keep me occupied and the days would drag.

Eventually in October 2015, I was successfully chosen to start work at PWC for a Tax Client Administrator position.  I didn’t know what the outcome would be as I didn’t have any experience in that area of work. I have now been there for nearly 4 months and love it, it can be long days to try to meet deadlines and lots of meetings but I have something different to deal with everyday.

What was your dream Job and what do you do now?

Deaths, Plants and Wedding Venues #LittleLoves

This week has just flowned by in a blur,  I cant believe we are at the end of the first into February.

Anyways onto this weeks little Loves…

Reading up about Wedding Venues….We are thinking/planning about getting married in 2017.

The new series of Suits, it’s a TV series about Lawyers, and it is certainly keeping me on the end of my seat wanting to know what is going to happen.  Then the one and only Take me out too. “No likey, No lighty”.

With working full time I live in mainly dress, work trousers and skirts, then when I get home from work it is go get changed straight into my comfy PJ’s and snuggle down.

I don’t think you can class it really as made but I am growing a plant my friend brought me for christmas.  I planted it one night as I opened it to have a look and it had already starting sprouting.

The very sad news of the passing away of Terry Wogan, he was a fantastic Television presenter and also sadly one of my guinea pigs died too.

And Finally…..

Unfortuantly my car is still at the garage and they can’t find out what is wrong with it but i’m still hoping and praying it is nothing to serious or expensive.

What have you been up to this week?

Claustrophobia – Fear of confined spaces

Since as far back as I can remember, was when I first figured out I had a phobia.  I had gone away with school on a trip to Redridge and we had gone to some caves and there was a very tiny cave called the nutcracker, which I tried to go inside but it was that small and tight, I just panicked, I remember getting really upset because I really wanted to do it but I just couldn’t.

It is something that has affected me quite alot even in simple every day things.  I have worked alot in adminstration in large building which consisted of quite a few floors the biggest been Alpha Tower in Birmingham where there are 27 floors and I managed all 27 of them.  Walking up 27 flights of stairs was not an option to speak to clients.

Lifts are one of my major hurdles that I have had to try and get to grips with, they are in the majority of buildings and places that I have worked and visited,  this has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to overcome, going into hot sweats when I even thought or saw a lift. When I was in a previous job, my boss pulled me in the office and said this can’t go on, I need proof from your doctor that you have claustraphobia, I was so angry I was still doing my job to the best of my ability walking up 3 flights of stairs whenever I needed too or putting stuff in the lifts and running up the stairs save carrying it etc (Health & safety and all that) so I made an appointment with my doctors and got the letter I needed.

I realised after that I really need to get help with it, as it felt like it was taking over my life.  Gradually I started going in lifts providing someone was with me but that wasn’t always practical.  So one day I bite the bullet and took my first step into a lift on my own, I remember it like it was yesterday, how scared I felt, feeling sick to my stomach listening for every little noise etc and gradually each day, month and year past I got better and better, I was determind to kick this phobia where it hurt and prove I could over come it.  A few years on I still have my good and bad days but I am working on it and i’m sure as time passes it can only get better.  One day at a time.

Do you have a phobia? What is is and how are you overcoming it?
